RETURNED TO RESTING PLACE-A couple dozen fragments of the skull of Captain Ebenezer Morton were returned to their rightful burial place in Friendship Wednesday by Police Chief Earl Mineau. The skull pieces had been exhumed by alleged grave robbers in April 1977 and kept for evidence by police officials in a briefcase (foreground) in a closet ever since. Morton died in 1831 at age 85, and was possibly involved in the Revolunionary War. The Morton graveyard has since grown up.
